 Metformin not working anymore
Hi!
Are there any thin cysters on Metformin for whom it worked for a little while and then stopped? I got my first AF in 12 months after taking one 500 mg pill. AF came again right on time (30 days) next month with 500 mg/day. Then nothing. I went up to 1000mg/day for 3 or 4 months and now am taking 2000mg/day! All it seems to be doing is making me sick. Ater tracking my BBT, I don't think I ovulated during the 2 cycles I had either. My acne hasn't gotten any better and I am still gaining weight. I went from 95lbs to 102lbs in the past 1 1/2 years. Reg. doctor did bloodwork and everything was withing the "normal" range except my LH:FSH ratio showed the classic 3:1 ratio. I am really scared of fertility treatments. |
