My dr. prescribed me Metformin, not XR, and wants me to take 1500mgs all at once at dinner. Does anyone else do this?

TTC#2 since Sept. 08
June 09: Clomid 100mgs - Ovulated way late
July 09: Clomid 150mgs, B2B IUIs = BFN
Aug 09: Follistim 75iu, IUI, 2 follicles = BFN
Sept 09: Cancelled due to cysts, O'd, BFP! 1st beta 20dpo, 114. 2nd beta 22dpo, 224
Oct 09: Ectopic, Methotrexate shot 10/27, laproscopic surgery 10/31
Dec. 09: Late ovulation,

My doctor has never has me take them all at once....In fact, the information that comes with the medicine advises you not to take two does at once. Have you already tried this? I'm curious about the side effects you may have taking that much MET all at one time.

I take two at once, but every time I try to increase to 3 pills, it makes me very sick.
