Cool

Hi Gina,

I can't answer your question but thought I'd say hello as I'm in hampshire as well.

From what I have seen (from other sites as well) there doesn't seem to be that many of us!!!

Per haps they are hiding?

All the best Carol

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Metformin during pregnancy is still being researched in America. All the articles that I have read seem to think that continuing with Met during pregnancy is a good thing for PCOSers. It dramatically reduces the chances of mc during the 1st trimester. There were no reported ill-effects for the babies.

I have always been told that you should be careful about lifting heavy objects during pregnancy.

Hope all goes well for you and junior!!

MY gyn has done quite a lot of research into met but still advised I came off it when I discovered I was pg. He said there was not enough evidence to say it was definitely safe during pregnancy and that there are new studies to suggest that pcos sufferers do not run a higher risk of miscarriage afterall (not seen these myself).
I was anxious about coming off met when I realised I was pg at five weeks but was also anxious of causing any potential harm to my baby so I followed his advice. All I can say is that I'm now at 15 weeks and everything seems fine.
Discuss it with your dr and best of luck xxx
