Default Metformin & Pregnancy

Hi Ladies,
I just went to a new endocrinologist who told me that as soon as I get pregnant, I should go off of Metformin. My last obgyn told me to stay on it until my 13th week of pregnancy. Has anyone had experiences with either of these options?

I like to think that Met is the reason why I have my Colin. Before Colin I had two miscarriages and my RE would have me go off Met when I got the positive pg test. After my 2nd mc she said just to stay on Met until after the first trimester. I actually stayed on it until I was 16 wks pg because I was too scared to stop taking it. I then still ended up getting gestational diabetes. I was seeing a high risk ob and he said that I should of just stayed on the Met. I am sure when we try for baby #2, I will stay on Met probably my whole pg. Congratulations and good luck to you.
