I have been on metformin for a month now. Im taking 500mg and have felt fine until last week i went on a more strict diet and starting feeling really bad. I have been so tired I cant hardly get up alittle dizzy and my heart seems to be beating fast. I was just wondering if anyone else had these symptoms? Its weird to that I checked my glucose at home and it seems to be higher since I have been taking it. Im just worried I will not be able to take it and I really want to be able to.

Are you eating enough? You might not be getting the right vitamins and minerals if you are on a strict diet.

Well I think maybe I was not eating enough. I went on a low carb diet this week and was not eating hardly any carbs at all and thats when all this started. So I think it could be from the diet
