Does metaformin help you lose weight?

I hear alot of people say yes but is thats it purpose

any stories?

I am wondering the same thing. I know so many people who have taken it and lost weight.

You two should read the sticky at the top of this forum titled "Metformin Success Stories". There are lots of accounts of people losing weight using metformin, but metformin works best when combined with serious diet and exercise...it's not a weight loss or a wonder drug.

i personally lost weight when i started the met. But my endo said that it wasnt anything to do with the met, but a coninsidence. but it definately did help me.

I lost 4kgs in the first week or two. Anytime I try to lose weight with weight loss shakes I get bad diarrhea.
