Points: 7,634.47 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 7,634.47 | Well I can't really say I was regulated. I was getting AF, but not very regularly.
In the beginning of Met, I had 54 day cycles. They eventually went down slowly until about 8 months later I was having 32 day cycles.
Met really helped get my hormones into more 'normal' ranges, but I still need some work with my testosterone levels.
HTH!

Points: 92.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 92.00 | I started met 12/01 and did not start to regulate until 9/02. I still do not have a consistent cycle length - usually 32 - 37 days - but at least she comes now. Also I noticed that I did not start really losing weight until 9/02.
Hope that helps alittle.

The beginning of December after 3 1/2 months, then the end of Jan (49 days) and now I've just hit 49 days again and wondering "huh?!". I've always been irregular, maybe 4 periods a year on average.. I'd miss it for a few months, and then it may come right on time. I'm kind of disappointed that after almost 6 months of being on met that I'm not even at a month on a cycle yet. Anyone else have any advice for us? Time line to expect before even a possible regular cycle? Thats the point of me being on it right now.

My Mood: Points: 24,588.96 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 24,588.96 | Met seems to have worked right away for me. Only 2 weeks after starting met I ovulated, and AF came 12 days later. Now I am 11 days into my 2nd cycle on met and all signs point to O right around the corner...

Points: 1,458.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,458.00 | I started 1500mg/day Glucophage in September of 2002. My cycles were 21 days long -- and my period came on the 28th day sometime in February (wow). Since then, my cycles have started on the 28th day. My periods are REALLY HEAVY and vary in length (last month it was short, this month longer than a week).
But -- at least it's working! yay!

I went from 500mg to 1500mg of Met in 2 weeks. 2 weeks after starting Met, I got AF on cd 28! I O'd the next cycle (but late in the cycle). 5 months later I still have regular cycles and O on my own ( I still O late in the cycle tho).
