Default Metformin: regular or ER for thin cysters

I am currently on Metformin ER but have read in some articles that the regular type is better for thin women with PCOS. Does anyone know anything about this?

i've read the same thing somewhere. I asked my doctor and she said it doesn't matter.

Metformin 1500mg ER since 2005
TTC since October '08
1st Soy cycle, 120mg CD 3-7, no O
2nd Soy cycle, 160mg CD 5-9, no O
1st Clomid cycle, 50mg cd3-7,no O
1st Femara cycle 07/16, 5mg cd5-9, O CD 18 BFP!!
