Well my dose of Met was increased to 2000mg in the summer. I didn't have regular cycles at all BUT apparently I ovulated at some point because 3 pregnancy tests later I am starting to believe the BFPs!

I also started seeing a dietitian in September and she had me try a low GI diet. I have been eating so much better and I wonder if it's the Met, or the healthier eating or both combined that gave me that BFP?!?!

Good luck!

I have been on Met for 2 months and although I did not get af.. I did end up getting pregnant on it and am now 6 weeks along. I truly believe Met was what allowed me to ovulate and conceive. Prior to getting pregnant I had not had my period since August and I only had it then because it was Provera induced. Good luck !

I got pregnant after taking Metformin XR 1500mg consistently for one month. I never ovulated prior to that on my own. They were always fertilty drug induced. So this was the very first time I O'd on my own and got preggo.
