hey girls, i am finishing up my second month on met and for the last week ive been feeling some serious cramps. not necessarily af cramps tho. they last for about a minute and go away. also, 2days ago i was seeing some of that fluid that you guys are saying could be ovulation. df and i have been "going at it" all week so if it was in fact ovulation im pretty sure we caught it. my issue it, this is my second month of met and no af yet. would it be a normal thing to get pg without even seeing af? cross your fingers cysters and please give me some feed back!
Happened to me with first dd!!

Well, technically in most cases you WILL ovulate before you get AF (although you can also have anovulatory bleeding). Its more a question of if you got pregnant on that ovulation without having AF first. Good luck to both of you!
Well yesterday morning and on and off through out the day I had some discomfort in my pelvis area but not AF cramps and some pickish spotting that completly stopped by 11pm..has anyone had that and then had a BFP?!? Ive been reading about implantation bleeding.

All possible as pregnancy signs, but still not for sure unless you get a + HPT. Since progesterone and other issues can cause those symptoms as well. As for me, I had no noticable pg symptoms, went on Provera to get AF, and then when it didn't come, took a pg test. So, test when you think it is time!

Hi Everyone!
Has anyone started Metformin and had a cycle and then the next month it did not work? If so did it start working again later on. I'm so bummed thinking that it did not help me ovulate this month. So far just HIGHs on the Monitor and no surge on the LH test strips. Thanks!

Well what I have had happen in the past (including this time around) was that I would have a perfect cycle the first round on Met, and then the next cycle is wacky. Eventually it evens out, but I am not sure why it does it that way.

thank you all so much for your encouraging stories. i thought i would never be able to have a child (though i do not want to have one any time soon) but i might like to in the future - i had decided that wasn't an option for me. my doctor is putting me on metformin next week and i can't wait to see what happens. good or bad, it is at least worth a try for me. if my symptoms go away, or even let up just a little -- it will be amazing. i am so excited. thank you all so much.
