Trisha - only a month to go! How are you feeling? I look at your attempts at TTC and how successful you were. Good for you I am envious in a good way. |

My Mood: Points: 110,931.90 Bank: 6,180.56 Total Points: 117,112.46 | Beckee- thanks! Yep, met has truly been my wonder drug... I get pregnant almost exactly the same amount of time on it each time (whatever month I start it is the month I give birth the following year)
Sarahbara- you certainly could find out at 12 dpo, some do as early as 9dpo, but this last time I didn't get a positive unitl 14-15 dpo, so don't lose hope if it isn't positive that early.
Mrsdanz- Once again, I truly feel like the grinch here but its hard to say for sure with your chart yet. I go by the method in "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and don't fully understand FF's methods sometimes, so hopefully they know more than I do! (in most cases in my method they look for a temp rise that is at least 2/10th of a degree higher than your previous six temps and at least 3 temps that stay 1/10th of a degree above those previous six temps) That all being said, temping didn't really help me out all that much... I paid more attention to signs of impending ovulation such as cervical fluid. I do highly recommend that book though... its my ttc bible and I learned soooo much from it.
Good luck ladies! |

I guess I wont' know if its af until i see what tomorrow's temp will be. I'm not feeling as hopeful as I was a few days ago, but who knows i'm still above coverline. Testing tomorrow if af doesnt arrive before then. I'm sooo nervous.

My doctor hasn't talked about increasing my dose. It has only been a month but we have been ttc for 3 years and just want to get things moving.

My Mood: Points: 567.70 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 567.70 | Thank you thank you thank you!!!! I love these stories. You all have no idea how good it feels to me to read these positive stories after feeling like this will never happen for you.
I am new to PCOS (found out October 2007) and he immediately put me on Met and Provera (no cycle since May 2007). Came back to see him 2 weeks after my period started for an u/s and to get back blood work. Thats when I was officially diagnosed. He said he didnt see me ovluating that month so we are hoping for better luck next month. The Met has been fine for me. Im up to 1500mg after one month. No s/e like with 1000mg but I think thats because I was new. He said in a few months if nothing he would start me on Clomid but after I read some stories here about getting pregnant on just Met, im willing to just try that for a while. So thanks again ladies! |

I know those BFN's can be demoralizing. It may be too early to test. I know that the last time I was pg, I got a BFN on 12 DPO, and then a BFP on 15 DPO. I noticed your temp didn't stay triphasic, (sorry) but that doesn't mean you are out of the game by a long shot. Keep us posted!

My Mood: Points: 2,818.00 Bank: 21,915.14 Total Points: 24,733.15 | Thanks Beckee, I was actually looking at FF's chart gallery and noticed a lot of women don't get a positive until 14 dpo and some not til even 18 or 19 dpo. I guess that gives me a little more hope, and since af hasnt showed yet and I was so sure she'd be here by now, I'll hold on to the little hope I have left. I'll keep you all posted.

I had some nausea and vomiting about 7dpo, but than no real symptoms for weeks after that. Also, in case you don't get AF and you don't get a positive, just keep in mind that FF may be wrong on your O date too. I have seen that a lot so, you might just be ovulating a little later, so assuming you continued to BD there is still hope. And yes, some women don't show positive results for weeks later for some reason... you just never know! Good luck! |

I tried provera earlier this year and it did not even work. Miracle drug, now if only I can figure ot how to tell when I am ovulating. A healthy happy Pregnancy is next!
