I do know that I was addicted to HPT's and you can get them very cheaply online... www.early-pregnancy-tests.com Free shipping on orders over $15 and they ship FAST. For $15 you get probably about 20 tests! So test away! |

Points: 1,111.84 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,111.84 | Very frustrated So I had another ultrasound today. Two follicles, 2.7 and 2.8. Still no rupture. I have only been on met for not even two months but I am wondering if I will ever ovulate again. It is so easy to start losing hope. I don't have weight to lose. I have been working very hard at a low carb diet...I try to stick with 14 grams protein with every 28 grams Carb. I have been taking herbs including vitex. Someone please reassure me not to give up. The met does make me feel better but TTC is getting so depressing. For those of you that have had success with met, how long did it take? Did take or do other things to help you ovulate?

hi kita
what dose of met r u on? usually doctor starts from low dose and ask to increase slowly, and go up to 1500 mg. it takes atleast 2 months to get AF on met. have to be regular on medication. missing doses can also effect on delayed AF.
the pain n cramping can be due to ur hormones trying to balance out, and also AF trying to come.
on met, i get lots of cramping and abdominal pain b4 AF comes, n they usually start 2 - 3 weeks earlier. me b4 being on met. i never had cramps, so wen i first had cramping i thought i got pg...hehehe... ( different ppl experience different things )
i m on met for 6 months but not sure if it is helping me to ovulate. i think combination of medicine works better.

So this is an awesome first step. So far I have lost about 6 pounds which is such a good feeling. My fiancee and I have been ttc since 06/07, but we are very hopeful and optimistic. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your stories, it makes me realize i'm not alone and there is someone to talk to so thanks! |

You are supposed to give yourself up to 6 months for the Met and VItex. You have time! Chin up. If in 6 months, things don't work out, then maybe look into it more. The other thing is, stress delays O, (It most certainly delays it for me) and it sounds like you are stressed out. Is there somewhere you can go, someone you can confide in, to let it all go for awhile?

I got 2 positive opk's but i'm only on cd 14, which is pretty early for me. I'm wondering if the vitex might make me O earlier than with met alone.

I am only on cd 20, but I feel just horrible....I have been having bad headaches since cd 13, and my stomach has been sore...I don't want to keep taking Tylenol for them b/c if I am preg. I don't want to hurt the baby...EVEN if Tylenol is ok to take...I was at DH Xmas party and was having cramping on my left side, and above my pubic line a bit...more on my left side tho..my stomach got worse AFTER I had a midnight lunch but my stomach was sore b4 that, so I have NO idea what to expect..
