Points: 236.09 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 236.09 | Hello,
I was just wondering - I am supposed to gradually go from 500 mg to 2,000 mg. How often should I go up? I went up to 1,000 mg last Friday. Should I do it weekly or sooner than that? I haven't encountered any problems with it yet. *knock on wood*
Thanks!

Points: 236.09 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 236.09 | Well, the only thing that I've noticed is increased tiredness, but I've heard that if you take B-12 it helps. I already have lower B-12 levels anyway. The only other thing I've noticed is that my appetite is very much like a roller coaster. Sometimes, I'm not hungry and other times I'm really hungry like I usually am, lol. At any rate, I haven't had many GI problems and in fact, no diarrhea (sorry for the details!) at all like a lot of women complain about. Do you think today would be too soon to go on up to the 1,500 mg? I've already taken 4 doses of the 1,000 mg.
THANKS!!!!

I was only on it for a few months. I think I was kind of on the less severe end of the PCOS spectrum, because I did ovulate a few times a year without medication, and my weight never hit 200lbs, so it didn't take much Met. But still, I made no efforts to BD at the right times or anything and it still happened fast... surely you ladies that chart and know whats going on will have similar luch!

Would you e-mail or reply with what your situation is. IR? PCOS? What you were on to become Pregnant? Thanks so much! Have a great day everyone!! |
Like I just replied to Chicago Girl, I had a few periods a year, but no clue when they were coming. I was (still am) obese but not by much (size 14/16.) My reasoning is that since I only took Met for a few months (and missed days, too) and got PG with almost no effort, it basically must have put my ovaries right there with slender women who have no problems at all conceiving.
I did use some herbal methods, too (vitex & donq quai,) and cut white carbs.
I am going to come back on here in a day or so and I hope to read some more good experiences! Weight loss, periods, BFPs, etc!

| If only that were universally true! There are a few of us thin cysters too, but met has been wonderful for me too! |

Colorado ~ I'm also upped to 1500mg this week. Fingers crossed. I don't think I've O'd so far this cycle as my temps haven't jumped. And I'm already on CD 22. There's always next month.
