Thanks Tiff. I know what you mean. I told you... I have been there too. I was even there with a friend who has PCOS, but because she had just found out and then got preggo only 6 months after finding out... I was jealous. It kind of messed up our friendship because it was hard to be around her... I found out that she just had another baby... her first just turned 2.

I just took a look at the first thread we had going and I have been taking my met regularly for ....drum roll please....2 1/2 months!!! Im almost to the three month mark MUHAHAHAH. Im so happy about that! I hope it starts to regulate my hormones and maybe i can just be on met and get pregnant! That would be so nice!

Unhappy Excuse me If I took it the wrong way...

Could be that I'm emotionally raw right now but I had to come back and say this. I'm not "feeling sorry for myself" and I know like you told the other ladies- it will happen. I know the accounts of Hannah and Rebecca like you and know that its not an impossibility. It is not my fault that my husband is not "team playing" right now. He is not team playing right now b/c like most men can be at time hes being selfish. I have never had the luxuary of being pregnant, at least if I had a miscarriage I would know at least I could. But I have never been pregnant...and you have no idea how much that hurts. I don't feel whole, as if I'm not really a woman because I can't bring life into the world. Then I'm made to feel guilty as if I'm on him too much which is not the case. He is always making comments about our baby or our child this or that so he does want this child but needs to understand that it takes effort from us both. I'm sorry that he has to go through this with me, I am clearly the reason why we don't have a child, were he with someone else he'd probably be a father by now. As it is I have to bear this burden. I'm sorry if I took comments the wrong way its just that I'm tired of being made to feel like I should treat him like a piece of porceline (sp?) china...I thought I was the woman, and the one who needs the reassurance. Why do we have to make such an exception for them? Its hard enough having this illness without having to baby our significant others.

Ok so I made it through the first part. I really hope none of you ever have to go through that (doctor said it can me more painful than labor) They did not put me on anything before like they said they would. This doctor was really good though and he has made special arrangements so that he can do the hsg for me this afternoon and he gave me vicodin and vallume to take before I go in later. He also said after what I just went through the hsg will be easy and should not hurt too much. I am still cramping a little from earlier and a bit uncomfortable. I am hoping for the best this afternoon.

Ebony...

I hope I didn't upset you, I really value the bond that we have on this thread. I just needed to get that out. I swear I would have burst if I didn't. I think that more than anyone I'm pissed with DH. I know being Pissed won't do a darn thing its just that I need him to understand that it takes two and if hes not willing to do his part be a man about and say it. I hope I'm still in your "friend circle" (pleeease). At any rate, hope you and everyone has good night.

Kellie..Im so glad you are done with the most painful part! Good luck with your HSG! It only hurts for a little.
Lisa- its ok to vent hun, I know exactly how you feel! I have never had a bfp at all either and I always feel less of a woman because of all this. Infact its a whole chapter in my book! Husbands can be jerks! Mine and me got into numerous amounts of fights because i was doing everything to get regnant and he wasnt doing anything! all i wanted was for him to stop drinking when were ttc. Lol. he is better now..but that was all him..I definetly didnt treat him like a porcelin doll! More like ...a rubber ball
Ladies hope everyone has a great night. im probably going to bed soon!!

Let me apologize, for my remark clearly had an unwanted effect on you. Ofcourse it's not your fault your husband isn't 'a team player'. Like I said, I don't know if the team player thing is an issue with you, but I noticed it in my relationship. And I wanted to share my experience with you as a way of comfort, not as a way of blaming you of anything. That was the last thing I wanted you to feel.

And for the record I'm also not blaming you for feeling that way, you're going through a lot and with all these hormones acting wacky you have every right to feel the way you feel now!

LOL, men are babies!!

And seriously? Don't hurt yourself by thinking this way! Had your husband been with some other woman he might have had children with her by now, yeah, but she also could have been a shop-a-holic who got the whole family into HUGE debts leading to all of them having to live in a tiny car, or someone who neglected the feelings and needs of her children and had affairs with next-door neighbours and everybody else in town or someone who simply wasn't as much fun as you.

You are so much more than your fertility, we all are. I know it hurts, being subfertile, we all are. But your husband chose you because of all that you are and if you'd ask him I'm sure he wouldn't trade you for the world. Just like you wouldn't trade him because he never BD'd with you at the right times in the past, right? I hope you'll see where my comments were coming from and that I didn't mean anything bad with it

HSG is done!!!! It went so much better this time (I think it took longer for me to get cleaned up after than the entire procedure did) It was a little uncomfortable but I was on valume and vicodin. Just when it started to really hurt it was over. I was a little dizzy when I went to the bathroom to change/clean then came out to where DH was waiting and started to pass out. I'm finally home and just going to relax and watch tv the rest of the evening. I have also decided to take tomorrow off as a mental health day after everything I have been through the last two days. We may start BD as early as tomorrow, although he is worried it may hurt me after the past two days I said I think I'll be ok. I should o this weekend!

Kellie, I'm so happy for you that you're past all that! I'm sorry you feel all worn out but hopefully you'll recover soon (staying home for an extra day should give a good boost I imagine). Too cool you know you'll O this weekend Did they see that on your ultrasound or don't they use one with an HSG?

Aww thats crumby! I cant wait to get your update!!! My mom crys whenever i cry lol. If im upset she is right there asking if she can make me cupcakes or whatever else she thinks i might want.
AFM- Im so pissed off right now! I call my doctor to get a refill on my met. and last time i went to her she said they didnt have met er at our pharmacy but she could give me the reg. I was like thats fine no problem. Next time i saw her she asked if i wanted her to order the met er and i said no, that i liked the new met because the pills were small enough that i wasnt choking to death to get them down. SO today when i get my met low and behold what has she done! Oh not listen to a word i said and ordered the met er! AGH I can not stand a dr who does not listen or remember what their patient has said! Why ask me if your not going to listen!

OMG i could not believe my craziness into to thinking that since i was taking 2 a day it must be 1000mgs!!! My DH just laughed at me :-) Well at least now we know why AF hasnt came down yet... He gave me a 1000 mg Rx so as of today I will officially be taking 1000mgs!
