Hi everyone!! I am new to this site and this is my first post and I'm wondering... what is anyone's experience on Byetta vs. Metformin? I was started on Metformin about 3 years ago after my 2nd MC and noticed that my cycles became regular, acne cleared up, and weight started coming down. My son was conceived after 5 months on Met but after he was born (he's now 2 1/2 years old) I stopped taking Met. I'm now on Byetta (for past 2 months) and have lost some weight, but no change in acne or cycle yet. I'm curious to know if anyone else has experience with both and what your preference is. I'm thinking I may request to be put back on Met. Thanks for your input!!

Hi Kellie

I think form what I have read that you can take both MET and Byetta. I think MET is supposed to work better with byetta.

So I would suggest you talk your doctor about it.

Also there is a long thread on byetta in the alternative medicine section where you can ask more questions about it.
