Metformin XR/BCP combo.... When taking the Metformin XR and birth control pills, will your body be regulated when you come off of the BCP? Will you automatically begin to ovulate? TIA. Renee.

For me it took almost a year to ovulate w/Met and bc pills. I always get AF after taking the pills, but not after that. GL

Amy, are you saying that with the combo that you didn't get Af?

I always get AF w/the birth control pills but it's just a forced af, not ovulation. After the AF from the bc pills, I don't usually ovulate on my own except for this past month, I finally did.
