How has Metformin helped you/everyone???
I think it has helped me lose weight a little bit & I have got my period on it a few times.

I think my hirsuitism is slowing down. And when I went in for an u/s the other day, the tech said it looked like I was getting ready to O.

My hair has slowed down growing on my face and stuff, I have lost almost 20lbs and I feel so much better besides being tired all the time.

I've been on Metformin for around 5 weeks-- worked up to the 1500mg. I've lost around 15 pounds in that time, am losing a lot less hair in the shower, and my skin has cleared up. Between the side effects from bad foods and the reduced cravings for those foods, I am eating much healthier.

I started Metformin about a month and a half ago. I got pregnant on my first full cycle taking it after several failed rounds of Clomid. In the past I took 1000 mg. of Metformin, but it didn't do much. Now I take 1700 mg. (850 2X/day) For those of you TTC, I think the higher dose of Met is what worked for me!
