Hi... just wondering if anyone else is on Microgestin FE. I always had a hard time tolerating BCPs in the past--they made me extremely moody. But I've been on this pill for a few years now, and I'm doing well on it. I still have pretty bad emotional swings in the days before, during and sometimes right after my period--but the rest of the time, I do okay. It's very low-dose, which is nice, and it also helped clear up the mild acne I'd been dealing with for a couple of years.

I switched from Yasmin a month or so ago. Much happier with the new pill. I was also on it in college and had no problems.

My dietician also has indicated that it is a really good choice for people who have insulin resistance.
