I can't believe it, I started spotting today, right in the middle of my cycle again. I'm on ortho cyclin (actually the generic).

Here's some history. I had been on ortho tri-cyclen for over a year. When I got my ultrasound back in October I was told that I have cysts and with all my other symptoms I was diagnosed with pcos.

We tried loestrin 1.5/30 to get me on a monophasic pill instead of a tripahsic to try to help get rid of the cysts. I was on the loestrin for 4 months and had a full blown period in the middle of 3 of the packs.

I went to an ob/gyn that's experienced with pcos. He said the hormone level in the loestrin was too low and that's why I was spotting mid cycle. He started me on ortho cyclin. I figured things would work out ok. I didn't really have any problems on it last month. Well now this month I'm spotting. ???

It's so frustrating. I was really hoping to get rid of the cysts and regulate my cycles at the same time and get everything normal before I started ttc. We were planning on starting in about 3 weeks. Now I don't know what to do. I'm so tired of all the hormones. I feel like all the stuff I've put myself and my fiancé through has been for nothing.

I've got an appointment with my ob/gyn on Monday. I'll see what he thinks then.
