Default might be having a m/c...lots of questions

Hi ladies,
I think that i might be going through a m/c today. I started bleeding really heavy all of a sudden this morning. When I went to the restroom, there was a huge, thick clot (maybe like 2 inches long). And I think that there was some tissue. Since then, I have not had any real bleeding...just some slight spotting. So, the bleeding lasted about 10 to 15 minutes. Is it a good sign that i havent had steady bleeding????

I talked to a friend who went through something like this after an IVF and is still pregnant. The doctor seems to think that i could have been pregnant with 2 and am losing one of the babies. What do you all think??

Do I still have some hope? If you had a M/c....how long was it before you lost your other sysmtoms. It is late afternoon now and i still have breast tenderness.

Don't give up hope. The same thing happened during my last pregnancy. When I was around 6 weeks pregnant I was bleeding heavily, and thought I was having a m/c. I was checked out by the doctor and my cervix was closed and an u/s was ordered. When I went to the u/s there was still a baby!

Personally I believe I was pregnant with twins, as I was charting my cycle on FF and two ovulation dates were given and I had two implantation dips on my chart.

Toral - first of all let me say my thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm not sure what to tell you...how far along are you? When I m/c, my symptoms went before any bleeding, but I am not a bleeder and all my m/c had to be induced. Are you going to see your doctor for an u/s? That is really the best way to determine if there is still a pregnancy. I hope you and your baby are just fine.

its hard to say. lots of women have what you decribe and go on to have a baby. are you cramping? my cramps were pretty bad. i still had heart burn for a day or 2 after, and exhaustion...but the constant hunger and nausia dissapeared like 2 or 3 days before the bleeding. good luck and keep us posted.

To be honest, it's very hard to tell without an u/s. How far along are you? Unfortunately, you may just have to wait a while to see if you're not very far along, and waiting is the worst part.

Hope all turns out well.
