Hello. I hope that you all don't mind me posting here because it isn't official yet but I found out that I was pregnant last week and it looks like I might be getting ready to miscarry. I won't know for sure until tomorrow when the results of my second Beta come in tomorrow. I've been spotting off and on all weekend though, so I am not holding out much hope and neither is my OB.
Anyway, I am trying to prepare myself for the worst and I had a question that might seem strange. If I DO miscarry, will they let me start a new cycle of Clomid immediately or make me wait a few months? I know that if you miscarry further along, they want you to wait, but since this is so early, would I have to wait ?
I know this sounds stupid, but I am not sure I could handle having to just sit around waiting for a few months before trying again.
Any experience?
Kathy

Oh honey, I'm so sorry. But maybe you're jumping the gun. I know several cysters have said how much they spotted their first trimester. Don't give up hope, ok? Keep us updated. If you need anything, PM me.

PS: If you do m/c I don't think they'll make you wait months. They may want you to have a normal cycle then start. Not sure about that one.

I'm gonna stop looking back and starting moving on
And learn how to face my fears
Love with all of my heart, make my mark
I wanna leave something here
Go out on a ledge, without any net
That's what I'm gonna be about
Yeah, I wanna be running
When the sand runs out

Thanks for the quick response. The spotting alone wouldn't make me worry as much as the Doctor thinking that my first beta was too low. Now, I did some research and it didn't seem to be low to me, but he was just so negative and since I keep having the spotting, I am starting to think that he might be right.
I guess I will have to wait and see I am expecting the worst and hoping for the best, if that makes sense.
Thanks again!
Kathy

I'm praying for you and your little bean. Please keep us updated. Hopefully dr chose poorly in his attitude and over-reacted.

{{hugs}} I hope everything turns out ok! You and your lil one are in my thoughts!
As far as starting clomid right away it really depends on your doctor. Some will say go for it, others will want you to wait. It's all in doctors preference.
G'luck!

Thank you all so much! My Doctor called today and said the beta was 187. It was 52 last time so it did double. I told him about the spotting and he said that since my HCG was going up and my Progesterone was fine, there wasn't much they could do. He gave me the "spotting can be very normal but anytime there is spotting, there is a risk of miscarriage." He said it is probably normal and should stop eventually. They are doing an ultrasound on Monday of next week.
Hopefully things will be fine. Guess I'll stop worrying when I am about 90 years old though.
Thanks again for your support. I hope you won't be offended if I say that I hope that I'm not back here any time soon!
Kaffee - glad to hear the good news hon!!!! And no, I DON'T want to see you on these boards again, young lady...
Seriously, if you need anything, I'm a PM away!
