I have been having problems, ever since i got off of depo-provera my body has been acting weird. I have ewcm certin days of the month but no af, i get cramping but no af, i dont know whats wrong and have the time i have to wear a pantyliner because my ewcm is so much, it doenst spell or anything its just alot and sometimes my underwear are wet by the end of the day down ther, thats why i wear a pantyliner. Then the other day i noticed that i had some brown discharge down there for about 3-4 days then it went away, but it wasnt much, today i had nothing, what is going on?
Has this happened to anyone before?

When did you come off of depo provera? Was it the shot? I took it for awhile and wish to God that I hadn't. I think it made my problems worse, if not bringing them on all together. I was told that it can take up to 18 months to get provera out of your system. Possibly longer. It was a long long time before I had periods again. And then it was never regular again. Though some dr's dont tell you, you can study about depo provera and it says it can cause fertility problems. When you do finally have a real period, be prepared. My first one after coming off lasted for 2 weeks. Might have been a little longer, but I know it was at least 2 weeks. Good luck, sorry I couldnt' help you more. PM if you need to talk.
I agree with Tigger. Especially the part about wishing I had never ever went on it.
I also think that it sounds like your having typical PCOS anovulatory cycles...sort of. PCOS women tend to get a lot of fertile mucus with no follow through.
I didn't have fertility issues until after Depo Provera. I stopped after just 2 shots cause it was causing a lot of mental problems for me. But those 2 shots ruined my life forever. I had to have a hysterectomy because the Depo (IMO) caused severe endometriosis. Luckily I was able to get pregnant with no help before the Depo. But because of it, I can't have the big family I always wanted. It's one of the most evil drugs around.

I was also on Depo Provera and wished I never had taken it. I took 2 shots in between my 2 children. I had severe migraines at least twice a week. After missing my first shot it took 6 mos. to have a full period, but I did have brown spotting on 2 occasions that lasted for about a day. I also had tons of ewcm each month but would never ovulate(taking temps at the time to conceive). On the 7th month I did manage to o but didn't get pregnant and then in month 8th o'ed again and we conceived our second son.
I gained almost 50lbs. on those 2 shots and didn't have any other symptoms of PCOS until my 2nd pregnancy when I started to notice black hairs on my chin, then acne along my jawline. I assumed it was because of pregnancy hormones. Then during breastfeeding I noticed darker, thicker hair on my arms and stomach, an increase in the cystic acne...again I thought hormone imbalance from nursing but once my son weaned at 13 mos. and the symptoms continued on for another 18 mos. after that with periods only every 3-4 mos. I knew I needed to discuss it with my Dr. so that's when I got my PCOS diagnosis. He believes(even though there are no studies to support it at this time) that depo provera can aggravate or bring on symptoms of PCOS and has seen many women that have been on depo that have had an extreme increase in weight and then started showing signs of PCOS. Makes you wonder!

Thanks for all the comments ladies well. I was on Depo for about 5 years, long huh! well my last shot was September 2001, and I got right on the pills in december 2001, in January 2002 i got a little af, and in February, after that nothing. I still have not even seen a little drop of af. And my doctor cant even explain it to me. I think it might be because of weight, do you think body fat plays an important role? I have no other ideas. I wonder if I lose weight will af come back?
Tell me what you ladies did.
And yes I have alot of ewcm, it seems as if im ovulating but evidently im not.
I dont even get af.
Kim

I hate to say it but for most, yes, weight loss will play a HUGE role in getting your body back to normal. I went on metformin and lost 25 lbs. Ever since then, AF has been normal and I ovulate (with the exception of this month )
You really should have a period. Ask your doctor about provera.
**ETA I just saw that you already took provera. It could be that there isnt enough of a lining to shed which I believe stems from an estrogen disorder. If I remember correctly, an endometrial biopsy should be able to tell if you've got lining to shed.
I was on depo also, 2 shots, and 7 years later I am still not "normal." Depo brings on PCOS IMO. But anyway a month after my last shot was due, I started AF and she stuck around for 4 MONTHS straight. True, red, maxipad-wasting AF. Finally progressed to only coming 2x per month and finally 1 month. Lost some weight a year after discontinuing shot but it's back again.
and I dono't care what doctors say (pardon typing my hands are so cold in my 70 degree house they won't move right! speaking of PCOS!!) I didn't have problems before depo and I do now. One doctor told me in the middle of the 4 month AF it was all in my head and I really hadn't had a period for 4 months. I wanted to throw the used maxipad in his face!

Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.
Well, I have to join the ranks and say that I HATE depo myself. I was on it for a few years and when I went off of it, I had the most horendously heavy period I've ever seen. In a half hour I'd bled through a tampon. It was awful. I think it lasted for like 2 1/2 weeks. Never again. I've never been regular to begin with, but that just made it WAY worse. My cycles were even more erratic after depo. After Ethan was born 19 months ago I went on the pill for almost a year and still don't cycle now (since going off -- when I was on it it was like clockwork). So yeah, I despise depo and think it should be tossed out. It's horrible.
