Question migraines and provera

I saw a new gyn last week who, after doing a vaginal u/s on me, put me on provera because she was concerned about how thick the uterine lining is (about 1 cm) and wanted me to shed that lining...even though I had just had a massive AF at the beginning of Feb. anyways, I took the provera in the evening and the next morning I woke up to a migraine that go progressively worse during the day...I haven't had a migraine that bad in a very long time. now I'm having hot flashes like I've never had before. is all of this considered "normal" on provera? and do I finish off the 7 days I have to go on it? regardless, I doubt I will ever take provera again...I don't want a repeat of the last few crappy days.
