Klalder, that sounds like a good plan. My Doc told me that large muscle mass exercise (think something that moves your major muscles) can help in fighting insulin resistance, just like Met helps in IR. This includes both cardio, like brisk walking or jogging, etc and weight lifting. Limiting the amount of carbs you take in will also enable your body to better handle the sugar load (less to deal with, if you are IR). Good Luck! Dianna
