 Minocycline and the pill???
Hi everyone...
I'm new. I've had ovarian cysts since I was 12, I'm now 29 and my doc has finally decided to find out whats wrong with me. I have acne that started 5 years ago, have been on accutane, and could grow sideburns to rival Elvis'.
My question to ya'll is this. I was on Diane-35, which was great for my skin, but I gained almost 40 pounds (my doc had me taking it continuously for 4 years, no period breaks). So I heard that if you lose weight the symptoms get better, but I couldn't lose on Diane. So my doc put me on Marvelon and Minocycline. But I have heard that the antibiotic will cancel out the pill. Have any of you had experience with this?? Has anyone taken both antibiotics and the pill without problems??
