I had my physical today and my doctor has decided to change my bcp from alesse to minovral. I mentioned that I've been having cramps before my period whereas I never did before so she switched them because Alesse is a lower dosage drug which is probably why I was cramping.

I was just wondering if there will be nasty side effects again in switching pills, or would they not be as bad since I have already been on the pill for a year and a half?

alesse was bad for me! something about an ingredient it contains. now take this with a grain of salt but apparently its bad for ppl with pcos. i was on minovral and it never caused me too much trouble. most ppl here like yasmin but ive never been on it since my docs say its not available in canada
