I am staring a new BCP this cycle and I think it is called mircette. Anyone on this?
The last time i took a bcp, it was ortho tricyclen, and I had a reaction to it. Couldnt wear my contacts because I was so sensitive to the sun.

I just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience on this pill.

I was on mircette for 2 months and it didnt work out for me, I had a bad reaction to it. Its different for different people. I know its definately a pcos friendly pill so I hope it works out well for you! Good luck!

I did very badly on Ortho-Tri, and very well on Mircette. I am thinking of switching back to Mircette actually and going on a low dose of Spiro (I couldn't tolerate high doses). Yasmin is OK but I spot and get weepy during placebo week, but neither of those things ever once happened with Mircette, I'm a big fan.

Tried Ortho-Tri, terrible terrible. Mircette saved my life. Then tried Yasmin which was OK but had some side effects.

Now I'm back on Kariva (generic Mircette) with a low dose of Spiro. Ten bucks a month and I'm in a deliciously good mood.
