My heart goes out to you. I miscarried a singleton last November & it was the hardest phase of my life I've ever experienced. All I can say is time will heal your wound. I was in complete denial at first, but quickly got thrown into reality when my pg symptoms started subsiding (i.e. no more sore breasts). A couple of days ago I was reminded of my little angel's departure & had a good crying spree. Don't know if one ever gets over the loss of a miscarriage, but I can say it does get easier. My prayers are w/you and your family.

Thank you for starting this thread. I just found out yesterday I lost one of my twins. I am 8 weeks. I was totally surprised, as 2 weeks ago both heartbeats were strong and they were both measuring right on. I know the feeling that you said about feeling like you "caused" it, having a difficult time accepting the twin pregnancy. I've been totally worried since I found out it was twins, and now feel a little bit like that fear had something to do with the loss, though I know most first trimester losses are due to abnormalities of the baby, not due to anything we did or thought.

Anyway, I truly am happy that the other twin is doing well, but it is always sad to experience a loss. And I was just getting used to the idea (and getting excited) about having 2.

After soy, Femara, Follistim, an ectopic pregnancy, and IVF, FINALLY BFP 8/08 -- twins -- but lost baby B somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks. Hoping for a healthy singleton birth...

I'm so sorry for your loss - we thought we had lost one of the twins early on in my pg and I remember that feeling of devastation. It was only momentary but I remember it. I can understand how you emotions must be so mixed right now. I'm sorry you're going through this!
