Thank you for starting this thread. I just found out yesterday I lost one of my twins. I am 8 weeks. I was totally surprised, as 2 weeks ago both heartbeats were strong and they were both measuring right on. I know the feeling that you said about feeling like you "caused" it, having a difficult time accepting the twin pregnancy. I've been totally worried since I found out it was twins, and now feel a little bit like that fear had something to do with the loss, though I know most first trimester losses are due to abnormalities of the baby, not due to anything we did or thought.
Anyway, I truly am happy that the other twin is doing well, but it is always sad to experience a loss. And I was just getting used to the idea (and getting excited) about having 2. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences. It's nice not to be alone in this.

After soy, Femara, Follistim, an ectopic pregnancy, and IVF, FINALLY BFP 8/08 -- twins -- but lost baby B somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks. Hoping for a healthy singleton birth... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
