Well i am going through another miscarriage. And oddly I have a question. Does anyone know how soon after you stop prometrium by vaginal suppository(2, 200mg pills a day) do the symptoms stop? I mean my boobs grew the day before i started the prometrium. They are still huge and getting even bigger! I have been off it since 1am Thursday. My dr said it will stop and go back but I am not sure when. I am nauseated today but i think that is more cause of my dizzy spells then anything. I have had two u/s that just show a sack..2nd one the sack was smaller so baby never grew. I am also having shooting pains at like where my left ovary is and it goes down into my cervix sometimes.
I have never had these issues with my other losses.

i'm afraid i can't answer your question, but i am interested in the answer. i've been off prog supp for 4 week, but m/c earlier in the week. it's day 5 and my boobs are more sore now than they were last week. i think we have the same hormone issue and i love to know when it will stop.

My waist isn't back down fully yet. I really popped out the 17th. I think it was bloating and probably still that now . I am swollen today though..my rings were tight so i took them off with help of soap. It was hurting my one finger. I really don't know what is up. Really confused .

I have no experience with using prometrium and how long to m/c after... I also only had a sack and no fetal development... it took forever to miscarry. I ended up using cytotec to get things going... wretched experience.
My symptoms disappeared about a week after I finally miscarried the baby.
I don't know if that helps at all.

Sorry for your loss. i have not used prometrium but i have had 3 m/c's and it sucks to still have symptoms even though the baby is no longer growing. Sometimes it takes awhile for your body to understand that there is no baby growing anymore. We women are such complex creatures. My first AF took 5 weeks to come and when it did it was horrible. i pray for God to give you some strength as you endure this heartbreaking ordeal

Well I am still full of symptoms. No dizzy since Sat am. Still nauseated, bloated/big belly, swollen and boobs growing they are almost out of my bra which means almost gained 2 sizes! grrr
I lost baby Thursday night or last night. I am leaning more towards thursday but last night was rest of pregnancy maybe. Not sure. I usually lose symptoms before the loss infact i think every single one was like that. The progesterone should be long out of my system so I don't know what is up.
I have an appt Friday anyway so I will try and wait til then.
Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
