Default missed 1 pill & now period for 2+weeks

Hi.

I've been on yasmin for over 2 years and it's great for me. However, a few weeks ago, I missed ONE active pill (i have never forgotten one before then). I realized this the following nite, when I saw the days were one behind. I kept going with the remainder of the pack & skipped over the blank pills.

Now, usually I get my period about 3-4 days following the last of the active pills. However, by the next nite I had gotten my period. (so I had only been without a pill for 24 hours). This is why I skipped the blanks, I thought it would mess up my cycle even more. This all started two weeks ago, this past tuesday. It is now almost 10PM on thursday and i STILL HAVE MY PERIOD! The flow is light & all, but it's still a pain in the butt. I know it's mild compared to what some cysters deal with, but this is not normal for me.

Has this happened to anybody before and any ideas as to how long you think this may go on?!?!?!

Hello,
I missed one of my yasmin pills -- after a late night and a few drinks -- I popped it out of the foil and it went down the drain. So I continued to take the pills -- week 3 I was an emotional wreck. And my period lasted a week and a half (week four)-- relatively light for about the last five days -- but what a pain. Just let your body takes its "natural" course. But if you are worried -- call you doc. Hope that helps.

P.S. Have you been tested for acid reflux for chest pain and shortness of breath -- I have had the same thing since last Oct. and after many doc. appointments I have to see a GI because they think it is Reflux. Just a thought.

yeah, they checked out all the options, before suspecting cardiac problems. unfortunately it isn't GERD or anything like that. But, I'm getting treatment for it now, which is what really matters to prevent further complications & allow me to live some type of normal life.

Thanks for your answer & also for your concern!!!
have a great day!
