Default Missing my Microwave Nair

Hi
Does anyone else wax themself? I stopped shaving when I was introduced to waxing at the age of 20 (35 now). When I shaved I had to shave everyday and still had a 5'o clock shadow on my legs. If I didn't shave I couldn't let my legs touch and it would actually hurt .

I had a wonderful place I would go to in NYC that was quick and inexpensive (leg and bikini was $35). I should warn you that I bled during the first 8 waxes because the hair was so corse I would have 3-4 hairs coming out of one root. I would eventually have hairless legs for up to 3 weeks, wore pants for 2 and went for another waxing. Only one hair to a root, the hair is still black but softer, doesn't hurt. Even some bald patches on the lower legs and most of the hair growth is soft and fine.

Anyway I move to Arizona and cannot find a reasonably priced salon (bikini alone is $40).

So I begin to purchase the microwave Nair and I have gotten quite good at it. Then earlier this year I noticed it was getting harder and harder to find. They no longer have it at Walgreens, Walmart or Target and I just used my last batch. I have even written Nair and I am waiting for a response.

this is the only thing that works for me. I've used Sally hansen but it just isn't as good. I need my microwave nair.

i used to wax everywhere and it was pretty good results and the pain is less after awhile. just way too time consuming. the only place it was not good was under the chin and sides as it irritated the skin and make things come in thicker.

Boricuaesq, Are you talking about the microwave roll on wax by Nair? Because I used to use that too and they stopped making it. Now they have the "no" microwave roll on wax which is pretty good. I just pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds to soften it up even though it says no heating needed. I find it works just as good as the other stuff. But for really stubborn shorter hair, nothing works better than Sally Hansen cold wax strips..but be careful..they work so good they sometimes pull out skin..ouch!!!
