I have been on 2000mg of Met for 3 months now. On the 19th July I had my first 'proper' period since before Christmas!
Last night I was struck with an excrutiating pain low on my left side which seemed to radiate down my thigh to my knee. I called my doctor's medical health line after suffering for a few hours with no improvement. He decided that he should see me.
After examining me etc. he diagnosed Mittelschmertz syndrome, which apparently occurs at time of ovulation!!! He did an ovulation test which he said shows that ovulation is about to happen! Oh my Goodness ... could it be that my body is actually starting to work!
The doctor gave me some pills and told me that the pain should subside in the next few hours ... this morning I feel fine, no pain or tenderness and I'm really excited that the Met is doing it's job!
Has anyone ever experienced the same thing?

What can I say about Met ... I've felt like poo for weeks but the last couple of weeks I started feeling better. I have more energy, no sickness, no running to the loo all the time and now this!
I'm incredibly excited
How's things with you? Do I read your signature correctly ... are you now pregnant?

That's great - I'm so pleased you are picking up and feeling better.
Yes I am pregnant!!!! I almost can't believe it yet. I have a scan tomorrow and if all is well I'll be telling the world. I'm so nervous though as it was my 12 week scan where I got the bad news last time. However I feel so ill this time I'm hopeful that's a good sign (You've passed you're sickness on to me!)
I'll let you know how I get on!

That's probably the first thing she did when she arrived ... she walked straight past the 'harp shop' to the 'souls r us' and picked u out a really special one for you. Hopefully one that sleeps through the night straight away
What a beautiful gift and I pray that this is the right time for you ... have faith and trust that your little bundle will be all the more precious for all the effort and pain that u have had to go through.
Deeds! I have just been catching up a bit, and just realised you are pg!!! Fantastic news, even better that you are getting through the first few months.
I am still clomiding, lets hope it's my turn next!

Fantastic - Clomid as a verb - to clomid, clomiding, I clomid, you clomid, he/she/it clomids, we/they clomid, to have clomided.
rah - I like it.
Lisa you are so sweet! "walked straight past the harp shop to souls r us"!! but of course it's true!
Deirdre, I'll phone you today (it's 4.46am) to see how you got on, probably this evening sometime when I'm back from my exhibition and after Evil Landlady has taken her pound of flesh and disappeared (rent is due today!). I have lots and lots to tell you.
sending healthy-baby vibes your way!
hugs

You are the best - thanks for all the positive thoughts. The scan went so well and baby waved at us and his/her little mouth was opening and shutting (Takes after me!!) I am the happiest woman in Scotland today!
DH is over the moon too, we can't believe something is going right for once. Looking forward to telling the world all about it.
Only downside was getting my blood drawn - always impossible and ended up with a butterfly syringe on the back of my hand - poor midwife was covered as was the carpet - oh dear. When they realised I'm rh- they groaned as it will need done often!
I know my sister is thrilled and although my baby wont meet his or her auntie in person she'll be watching over them.
Thanks for everything - I can't stop grinning!

That is THE COOLEST THING EVER! I am so happy for you! I tried calling you last night but unsurprisingly it was engaged...I'll try again tonight. Wow, it's so brilliant! Now you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy, and think of some (DECENT) names...
have fun!
big hugs
