mixing aleve and yaz?/question

Hi everyone,

I havn't worte here in a long time. I Just have a 2 quick question. One has to do with meds and another has to do with somthing my dr said.

Yesterday I got my period. (Great timing to get it during the hoildays lol) Anyways I remembered today that my dr said when i do get my periods I am suppose to take my bc. I am taking Yaz. I took aleve which helps me a lot with my cramping . I didn't take my bc yet because I wasn't sure if I can mix the two. Does anyone know if its ok?

Also I made an appoinment to get my yearly check up this year. My dr said that I can't do it until I get a card saying it time and also somthing that has to do with my insurance. Anyways She said I don't need to go unless I am sexually active. Which I am semi I guess you can say. I am still a virgin,but I still do things with my boyfriend. Anyways Should I still go ..I mean wouldn't it make sense becasue of my pcos? Anyways What do you all think?

Take the Yaz. In regards to your insurance they will pay for your pap smear from one calendar year to the next from the date of your appointment. I went through the same thing a little while go. Just because your not sexually active shouldn't stop you from getting your pap smear.

yea i think I will go..I also got a few questions. I keep on forgetting to ask her or she probally did answer,but because of my memory issues i dont remember her answering.

I have found it helpful to make a list of questions before I go. It might even be helpful if you can take someone or take a tape recorder that way you can look at the answers when you are done. You might give tell your doctor your recording it for future reference. If everything else fails you might try getting a new doctor.
