Question Mixing Yaz with supplements ( cinnamon, Vit A, Zinc etc)

Hello,
I am a new member. I'm 23, 5'5 135 lbs. My doctor told me I have PCOS, but that I don't have an insulin problem.
I have had stomach/gastro problems for years now. I'm a vegetarian, but I've recently started eating fish, and I've been working on the recommended PCOS diet (less sugars, more protein less carbs etc.)

I was put on Yasmin, and immediately I began breaking out worse than usual. I read on this site that this might be normal at first, however I'm slightly concerned though bc on every BCP I've taken, the "initial" breakouts never cease, even for years.

I'd like to try Cinnamon and Vitamin A supplements to keep the other issues in check. Would these supplements create more harm when mixed? Has anyone tried mixing one or both with Yasmin?
Sorry so Long!
Thank you in advance!!

I have taken Yasmin for 2 and a half years. I also take an iron supplement, vitamin B12, fish oil, and a multivitamin. I have never had any problems. I would be careful taking a potassium supplement, but I think that anything else should be okay. I am not an expert and if you are really concerned you might call your pharmacist.

I take a multi and omega 3 with Yasmin and haven't had a problem, but for a lot of further supplements I would check with your doctor.

So it seems that it's safe to mix with vitamins... but Cinnamon extract ( maybe 2 grams a day)?
Has anyone done this? I know it's said to be used to lower blood sugar/create regular periods.

I'm not sure about the vitamins, but I will tell you that I started Yasmin about a month and a half ago, and I also have had terrible break outs. My acne was never THIS bad before I started the Yasmin (although I would break out like this a week before my period) but now it's awful throughout the month. Don't know what to tell you but I did want to commiserate. I may try Yaz if this continues. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
