Sorry but I need to moan (yet again). My other half has just been laid off from his job and I am really cheesed off !! ah ah ah The company was rubbish from the beginning and he was only on minimum wage (which for what he was doing is far too little), we were hoping that they would make him permanent so that he could start training as a carpenter or plumber, and now today is his last day. I have been looking for jobs in the area for him but all that’s available is factory work, which is o.k. but he really wanted to try and train for some thing and build some kind of career for himself. It seems that every times so thing good is happening some thing comes along to spoilt it, typical example is my job is really good at the moment lots of prospects and good money, but as my job takes off his takes a nose dive.
So here to hoping that some thing will come along soon because we cant afford for him to be out of work for more than a week. Thanks for reading (if you got this far !!) and letting me moan !!
oh I know what you mean... my hubby got stuck in 12hr/day job but with little money, cant look for another one coz we cant afford him not to work for a day..so stressful..
and my little moan - home office announced price rise, i was dreading to pay£500 in july for my residence permit but now its £950! such a rip off..cant go to see my family this year now...are they trying to improve the economy by charging the poor?
