MODS: Spread the word. Software update at the end of the week...
The more I read about the updated version of the message board, the more I realize that we need to update.
One BIG reason has to do with posting. I've noticed, and many have commented that there is a 'delay' sometimes when posting (ie the page just kind of 'hangs' in limbo). I originally thought this was a server problem, but it's a bug in the current version of the software.
The move 'should' be fairly painless, but you have FIVE DAYS to save and back up any information that you can't afford to lose.
The new board will have a slightly different color (I'm just warning those of you who don't like change.)
The good news is that this will be the last change for a LONG time - I PROMISE.
The plan is that the chatroom will also be fixed at the time of the upgrade.

Awesome Kat!! Thanks for giving us a heads up...will the board be down at all during the upgrade? Just so we can help ease minds who will be wondering!!

Stickies won't need to be saved, since they are like regular threads. (But if you want to save them JUST IN CASE...)
The board shouldn't be down for long this time. I have a new team handling EVERYTHING, and so far they seem to be pretty good. Last time there were several companies doing various tasks - a pure PITA.
