Exclamation Mole Hair?

I have all the normal hair issues that others with PCOS have (chin, upper lip, neck, chest, stomach, exc.)

However, I have a mole on my face, and I get HUGE black hair that grow out of it uncontrollably.

I only have to shave once or twice a week, but I find myself plucking these hairs everyday!

Does anyone else have this problem, and what do you do about it?

I have the same thing, and I just do the same as you. I'll either shave it or pluck.

I have one of those on my neck. I just pluck it when it is long enough to notice.

I have a heart shaped birthmark on my butt and have to shave it cause hairs grow out of it. I'm not sure if it's different cause it's not a mole it's a birthmark...or is a birthmark a form of a mole lol cause it's dark brown like all the rest of my beauty marks (moles) but I was born with it....hmm now I wonder.

My DH eventually had his mole removed. It is a full-on cosmetic surgery procedure. But the mole was large and uneven in colour, shape and edge so was in greater danger of cancer.

Sometimes not having to carefully pluck hairs for the next 70 years, or have a mole that is irritated by clothing, can make the removal seem like something you wish you did years before. It all depends on to what degree it impacts you vs the cost of removal... occasional trimmimg or plucking becomes quite normal for many people.

Default Mole Removal

I had a mole on my neck that was about the size of a pencil eraser. It was really annoying me, and it was growing hairs out of it, so I had it removed. The removal actually wasn't all that bad, and coming from me, that is huge. I absolutely hate anything that involves needles at all. They simply gave me a shot of numbing solution right into the mole, waited a few minutes, cut it off with a razor, and then burned what was left. It doesn't sound all that pleasant, I know; but, it really wasn't bad. Now I have a scar about the same size on my neck. It doesn't bother me though because I have really fair skin so it isn't that noticeable. The dark hairs still grow out of the same place though, even though there isn't a mole there. I do have a 'stache and all sorts of hair in other places; but, I don't usually have dark hairs on my neck. The hair that grows out of that spot is dark though. It seems to come in a lot slower than it did with the mole though, and it has been getting lighter over the past two years. It is much easier to shave too, because I don't have to worry about cutting the mole.

It hurts like crazy to pluck the hairs from my moles, so I use a little baby teething gel to numb the area first! I also use it for plucking my eyebrows too! And if you keep it in the fridge, it stops the redness later.

Just a tip!

Wow, never would have thought to use Oragel!

I find myself plucking chin hairs a lot (not really noticable to anyone but me) and I don't flinch. But the ones on my face (PARTICULARLY on the mole, which is under my nose) are the worst!

I've tried Nair and it works for all the hairs except the ones that grow out of my mole. I let them go and get to them when they're quite long. There's one that grows out of the top and four or more out of the base. I just suck it up and deal with the pain. Also, I try not to pluck more than one or two in an evening.

I tried to get it removed. Dermatologist removed the one on my stomach but not this one, because it was "cosmetic." Of course, after I saw the scar on my stomach, I was so glad I don't have something like that on my face!

I'd love to have it removed, but if it's coming out of my pocket, I want it to be done right.

I usually use bonjella or seda lotion (you can get one that's a liquid for adults - I find it the most effective) for plucking. It works a treat!
