Hi cysters!

My mom is back in the hospital. Some of you may remember when she was put in in November with a bad GI bleed. We have no idea what is going on with her this time. She is having trouble breathing, and has been broken out with a rash for about 15 days. She is stubborn, and won't listen to me when I tell her she needs to go to the docotr, she has to be half dead before she does.

She said this morning that they checked her blood sugar last night and it was over 600! So they gave her all kinds of insulin to get it back down. They also said they are going to teach her to use insulin in case she has to have it when she goes home.

They also have her on blood thinners, and are doing a doppler on her leg to check for blood clots. I don't know why, she has no symptoms of any clots, plus with her GI history, I'm afraid she is going to start bleeding again.

I guess this is where faith takes over, huh?

Thank you all so much for your prayers.

Mom came home today. Her blood sugar is still out of wack, but hopefully when she gets off of these Steriods for her breathing, she will be ok.
