MT, K's c-section is scheduled for 2/26 probably around the time of yours, but our doc expects her to go before that. She's had 2 prior sections, so she's having another. I'm hoping these little ones don't come before February! How are you feeling? Will you find out the gender?

Suzi, apparently I didn't even read your message?! Sorry! While I'm teaching I rarely log on and then I'm usually far behind. I'm sure that patience is a virtue you know quite well! I'm glad that you got an official dx of autism, so Elisa can receive the proper services for that. I will keep her in my daily thoughts and hope that sh doesn't have an untreatable mito- or metabolic disorder. I'm sure that dealing with Elisa and Eliana's health issues are a daily struggle for you and having the recent diagnosis of glaucoma must be overwhelming, but you are doing a fabulous job mommy! We don't want things sugar-coated and can take the truth even when it's not all positive. That is why we are here for one another. We take the good with the bad, which in this group seems to be more prominent than the good. I find you to be quite an inspiration and admire your strength! Please vent to us any time. ((HUGS))

So I got 2 negative hpts. I guess I'll go to get the beta to make it official. All the "nubmers" were in our favor, AGAIN, so who knows why it didn't happen. DH has brought up IVF and I'm just not sure how I feel about that.

Felicia--I tested bfn at home also but the testing at the doctor's office confirmed it. I just have a screwd up body, per my report so anything is possible. I feel the same way about IVF--I dont know if I could/would be okay with that.

Ivf isnt evn an option for us, you get it free if you have no children, but only one go at it. But since i have Amy, although she is 11 i still dont qualify for it. I have to pay over £5000 for one go!!!! slowly giving up hope as the clomid hasnt seemed to have worked this cycle and they arent willing to try anything else!!!!

anne...believe me I thought of you when I got the bfns. But I didn't have any other symptoms. With DS I did basal body tempting so I knew I o'ed and that it was up for 10+ days, so I tested. With my m/c I didn't POAS until around 15 past trigger but it was the sore breasts that prompted me to really test. I fell absolutely nothing right now. I stopped my prog and am just waiting for AF. I'm not sure if I was on a high enough dose to jump start it though. How's your pg going?

dani...I wish I had one time free option. What does your amt equal in US dollars? My RE does a package deal for those without ins for around $7500 (if memory serves correct) but that doesn't cover meds. We'll see.

AFM..I am thinking I would do IVF more for DH than me. I think he wants another baby more than he can verbalize. Anyway... I do need to ask if we have any left to freeze is there a new fee to insert the rest if the first time doesn't work. ~ugh~ Just another something to think about~

Hey Niki, thanks so much, good to hear from you! The girls are doing pretty well right now, Elisa had a great day at PT today and Eliana started crawling. I'm happy...

Dani I was also a little surprised that they pay for even one cycle of IVF in the UK...no chance of that over here! Most ins companies in the U.S. don't even think of infertility as something important enough to pay for treatment...SMH

Suzi--I am glad that Elisa is doing well in PT and Eliana is crawling, that is soooo exciting!!!

Dani--IT is pretty cool that they will pay for atleast 1 cycle of IVF, they understand how important it is to some women to have children. The US really sucks in the healthcare department. MOst states won't even pay for fertility drugs. My insurance company will pay for the drugs but nothing else

Hey everyone!

That does suck!!! There are strict rules about the one free go, like no kids, your weight, health etc but its good for those who can give it a go. But like most people say one go of ivf doesnt guarantee you a baby does it!! I do think the Healthcare in both our countries suck in their own ways!!!!

How are we all anyway ladies xxxx

suzi...you have some movers and shakers in your house ; )

adrianne...I'd take someone paying for this darn drugs. Ugh. It's hard to cough up that much money in such a short window. How's your cycle going? Are you still seeing that other dr?

anne...that first trimester is pretty tiring but what a great sign it is that you are tired. Tell those noseys that you caught a bug : ) Then they'll get our of your way for sure : )

AFM..The RE's office charges $7800 for IVF with ICSI. It's just hard to wrap my mind around that much money BUT between 2 IUI's and all the meds I bought for my 4 rounds of inj, I probably already spent close to $2500. Ugh. Anyway, DH and I are suppose to sit down and sort things out this weekend.

Hey ladies! I know I haven't been around in awhile. I have been getting the updates.

Anne - congrats!! What a wonderful surprise. Hope you are feeling okay besides being tired.

Nikki - a double congrats for you!! Glad to hear that things are going well with K. You certainly do deserve this. How exciting to have a date for the C-section already.

Felicia - Sorry that this cycle did not work. IVF is do darn expensive. I so wish there was an easier way. But I say if DH is on board then go for it. How is school going?

Adrianne - What's up with you girl? I see in your siggy that you might be in the testing phase soon. Is this a medicated cycle? Or are you trying on your own?

Missy - How are you feeling? Do you know what you are having yet?

Suzi - It was so wonderful to talk to you a few weeks ago. Sorry I have not called you back, you know life gets in the way. I don't remember you mentioning the glaucoma when we talked though. I hope you can get some answers with your doctor appt in October. Have you been able to get more therapies with the official dx for Elisa? I will have to try and give you a call some time.

Sam - How are things? I guess the follitism didn't work? So what is your next plan? Are you continuing with that?

AFM, yes Matthew has started Kindergarten. I guess he seems to like it. It is hard to tell because he is always telling me stories and I can't decipher the true ones from the lies. I guess it is an age thing. I have upped my hours at work so now I work at least every other weekend plus I am still filling in about 1 day a week. So between the 2 I have been busy. I did have a very interesting scenario happen to me a few weeks back. A very close friend of mine has a friend who's sister has an 8 month old boy. Her parents have custody of the child because she is in jail right now (not sure if her rights have been terminated or not). The parents are in their 60's and are already taking care of the boy's older sister. They just feel they cannot take care of 2 young kids at their age and are looking to give the boy up for adoption. The family knows of my situation and asked my friend if I would consider wanting to adopt the boy. I was so shocked when she told me this. I still do not know what I am going to do. DH is pretty adament about not wanting another kid. However my man concern is that the older sibling, different birth father, has autustic like issues and I do not want to have to deal with another child with issues. I think it would just break me. The other option I have been throwing around is embryo adoption. I so want Matthew to have a sibling, it breaks my heart each and everyday to see him by himself. He deserves it after everything he has gone through in his short 5 years here on this place. I don't have many options or time so I need to make my mind up soon. This is one of the reasons I picked up more time at work, to get money to maybe pay for either kind of adoption. I have no idea what I am going to do. But in a way I kind of feel like it is a sign that this adoption opportunity fell into my lap. I just wish I could make a decision.

So that's what is going on in my world. I hope everyone is doing well and I will try to post a little bit more.

suzi...it's quite a bit of money but you can't take money with you when you go : ) I just have a thing about debt. I try to avoid using a credit card and so that's really my issue. I'd sure get some no hassle rewards though if I put it on Capital One : )

andrea...you have quite a bit going on. Take your time because it's a big decision which ever way you go. Definitely keep us posted.

AFM...AF was a booger bear. I really don't remember it being that bad when I have done prometrium or prog before. It was ~ugh~. I was popping 800mg ibuprofen like no other. Goodness...it was uncomfortable. But I think she is gone. I'll start bcp next week and continue on with this IVF discussion with DH~
