Missy, thanks for asking. I'm doing ok. I just had dinner at my in-laws house. I prepared myself for well-meaning but insensitive comments, and I'm glad I did. They just don't get it. DH's grandmother told me to "just get a job and don't think about it." Sigh.
Kristina, gorgeous! I love the name Grace Caroline, too. Both those names are on our list of potential future daughter names. Grace after DH's grandmother (not the one who told me to just get a job), and Caroline just because we like it.

Kristina - Grace is beautiful! Your son's a cutie-pie too. How is he liking his baby sister? My son asks God for one every night...here's to hoping he gets his wish. How are you doing with your c-section? I was up and running pretty quickly, but as my OB said, I certainly had motivation! Keep the pics coming, and congrats again!
Lisch - How are things with you? Any time now right?
Kathleen - I'm sorry you had to sit through the dinner ordeal, but you're right - they just don't get it and probably never will. Someone once posted a powerpoint presentation on here to send to our "well-meaning" family members and friends about our infertility and losses. It was incredible. I did actually send it to my MIL and after that, she became my most supportive shoulder to cry on. If I can find it, I will post the link.

Adrianne- I am so sorry you are having to go through this again I dont know what else to say except I am sorry and will be praying for your family.
Kathleen- Hey! I just sent you a PM back but it might look and sound weird because it was too long and it wouldnt let me send it unless it was under 1000 characters so I had to go back and erase things like the periods and commas and some words, I really do have better grammar than it looks.
Montana- Beautiful children!!!
Hi to everyone else and thank you for the warm welcomes.

And now on to my vent of the day...
Was at a cousin's wedding and another cousin was there with her two little boys and expecting #3 in February--why does she get to be a freaking fertile mertyle and i cannot even get one? She will have 3 under 3 for a short period of time. Why cant I just get one--that is all I'm asking for. So.....she doesn't have PCOS and is on the other side of the family who doesn't have this wicked disorder but arrgh. Just gets to me...and she doesn't want anybody to know--well if you weren't 110 pounds soaking wet you might be able to hide it for longer then 6 weeks--she has a belly pouch already at 6 freaking weeks. It is not fair...Okay off my soap box.

Anne. UUUUUUUGH. I know how you feel. Both of my sisters are super fertile. Both of their first babies were conceived accidentally. ACCIDENTALLY??? I can't even imagine such a thing. I'd have to accidentally fall onto a follistim pen for a week and then accidentally have my RE put a sperm-filled catheter into my uterus to accidentally get pregnant. It's so unfair. Granted, both my sisters have had early miscarriages, but they've never had any trouble getting pregnant. One sister has 4 kids, the other has 1 and 1 due 2 days after my baby was due. It's rough.

Anne - Vent on...you needed it. It always seems that when we are at our most depressed, we are surrounded by pregnant women. My SIL is a lot like your cousin. Baby # 1 and # 3 were accidents and #2 was conceived the first month she tried. She also complained the whole time about her pregnancies knowing full well they we were just trying to get #1. I'm not sure why some people have to go through what you have. You amaze me at the strength you have to keep trying and I pray that you will one day very soon get the miracle you are hoping for.
Kathleen - It must be so very difficult for you to have your sister's baby due at the same time your son was to be born. My heart goes out to you. I know that right now you just need to allow you mind and body to heal, but I will pray that you too get your miracle soon when you are ready.

Hi everyone! I am going to try and piece together the two threads so I can respond to personals.
adrianne...thanks for the new thread. Sorry about your beta (I know I said it on another thread)...someone mentioned questioning..I think it's okay to question why. The hard part is when we don't get the answers. What about the dr you met? Is he an ob/gyn or RE?
missy...sorry about the job situation. Perhaps the "plan" has changed because you'll only be there for part of the year and it would be better to be at the same school rather than an entirely new school. Can't wait to hear the beta results!!!
alicia...I CANNOT believe you are close to delivering! Are you "nesting" yet?
kathleen...sorry about your losses. I hope you know that you didn't cause baby Ethan to get sick. It's not easy to lose a baby and it's not easy trying to deal with others who never have lost a baby. I hope that the thread becomes a place where you can share what you might not be able to share with others.
heather...I am sorry to hear about your loss. That is wonderful that you all were able to have a service. I am sure that it helped.
MontanaMama...cute! Looks like DS is already being a great big brother!
anne...I hear you on the vent! There do seem to be those women who, when their partner sneezes, they get pg. My sister is pg with #5! YES! Dh asked if I was jealous...not so much. I couldn't imagine life with 5 kids in a 3 bedroom house. The oler 4 are girls and this is a boy. I think we have all been on that soapbox! And I'm sure I'll be back there when I have to start sticking myself again with follistim.
AFM...DS just got over being sick. I'm glad...the one week I have to really work, he gets sick. But he's better and pretty much back to normal. I hope we all can sleep through the night as a result. I have an appt with a new ob/gyn in Aug. She's also a RE but not the one I see. I am going to schedule a RE appt for after that appt. I hope it works out with her b/c I am tired of trying to find an ob/gyn. We'll see.
Thanks for letting me vent--Kyle told me not to get bent out of shape about it--I love him to pieces but he gets on my nerves. This cousin was married in Dec. 2004. They had an early miscarriage in the spring of 2005, which I feel for them. Charlie was born in May of 2006, Jamison was born in September of 2007 (not planned AT ALL and she was borderline anorexic the whole pregnancy) and now this little one (kind of planned, kind of not) due in February 2010--so 3 under 3 for only two months but still--it freaking torks me off to no end. Yes, every child is a blessing but it still hurts.

Adrianne, so sorry to hear you are going through this nightmare again. Big hugs to you.
Felicia, glad your son is feeling better and I wish you the best of luck in the fall!
Kristina, congrats on the baby and nice pics!!!
Kathleen, sorry about the rough dinner with family and my deepest condolences for your loss.
Missy, hope the job thing works out.
Anne, sorry you are feeling down. ((hugs)) Hope things get better for you soon.
Well AFM I am doing a bit better than before, things are settling down, we got a new place to live so I dont have to leave Philadelphia. My girls are healthy at the moment (fingers tightly crossed LOL) and I also got approved for SSI for Eliana due to her vision impairment so I am good right now! I hope things stay this way!
I do feel a little weird on this site now that I know for certain I am totally done with trying for any more kids...but I kinda dont want to lose touch with you ladies...what do yall think should I stay?

Kathleen and Heather, I am so terribly sorry for your loss of your babies. Losing a baby is extremely difficult and requires strength that you didn't even know you had. Please rely on us to vent, cry and scream to ... we all know how devastating it is.
Missy, congrats on the bfp! I hope that your beta is nice and strong tomorrow! We transferred 2 blasts to K, my carrier, on 6/18 and got a bfp too! We might just be preggo buddies!
Alicia, you're almost to the finish line now!
Samantha, I hope you get a good report at the follie check!
Anne, thinking of you!
Adrienne, Suzi, and Andrea, how are you doing?
I lurk on the thread to follow all of you. I think of you often and wish you all well!
Oh man. It just hit me like a ton of bricks again.
It has been 8 days since my D&E. The first few days were really hard, and I had a serious breakdown Thursday night, but since then I hadn't cried a single tear. I went back to work, starting charting my BBT, and researched soy in the hopes of giving it a try before we go back to the RE.
Then just now I checked on the Dec 2009 Mommies thread that I was a part of. Everyone is posting their belly pictures. If Ethan hadn't died, I would probably be starting to have a bit of a bump now. It's such a silly little thing, but seeing all those bumps was absolutely heartbreaking. The tears are back and I can't make them stop.
How am I ever going to deal with my sister's pregnancy? How am I going to deal with Christmas?
