Anyway i have a question, i was reading about progesterone, our doctor has no idea what im on about when i mentioned it but iv read it helps with all the pcos symptoms so since my doc has no idea i just wondered if anyone else uses it atall?????

I take it put it mainly helps with the lining of the uterus so the baby can implant. I will have to take it throughout my whole pg. But it is something worth trying if your levels are low during pg.

I have taken prog to bring on AF and, like Adrianne, to help with implantation. I didn't need it with DS but I brought up what I felt was a luteal phase defect. So I suggested to the dr to add progesterone as support. You take it AFTER ovulation though. The RE I see now had me taking the pill and using suppositories.
Dani - I am very sorry for your loss, and you are definitely entitled to be all the B%*&# you need to be right now. As far as the progesterone goes, I've only taken it as part of my IVF regimens and like Adrianne said, will continue to take it through the first trimester.
Hope the rest of you ladies are well. I'm just counting down the days until my u/s and praying the news is good. I guess you all know by now that patience is not one of my strengths!

See when i asked the doc they looked at me blankly, so im guessing if i do try again im gonna have to buy it myself and i can only find it online in the cream and i dont know if that will be enough, i dont feel confident trying again without it as id want every best possible chance.....does that make sense?
How are you all today, im feelin better, paul is really helping, making me feel so special right now, he told me last night that he is soo proudof my strength and for coping so well with this and its made him love me more than he ever thought he could possibly love someone, i cried!!! lol x
Was thinking of getting a tattoo to remember my baby by, i mean i know it was only 12 weeks but i want to remember, and iv wanted a tattoo on my foot for ages, so i was thinking of picking something special for my loss and then only paul and i will know what its for, to everyone else its just a tattoo.....does that sound silly???

Welcome Dani--one of my losses was @ 12 weeks also -- it bites. Any loss bites but it seemed to me that was one of the harder ones to get through.
AFM--the cousin I was venting about last week is having twins...I'm not even going to go through it right now--I've done enough venting/b*tching about it that I dont need to do anymore.

Dani - i took progesterone injections this pregnancy until I was 16 weeks and I really think that is one of the reasons this one stuck. My natural progesterone was only 16 until about 14 weeks when it began to rise and that is on the very low end of acceptable (the injections don't show up on blood work for prog levels). I also felt like I had a luteal phase defect because I would spot for a few days before AF actually started.
