Default More regular on Met...ovulating?

This is my second full month on Met. First month I started on CD19 and af came on CD42. I know for sure that I didn't ovulate on that cycle. Last month af showed on CD37. Still not perfect, but much better than the 72 day cycle I had back in Oct-Dec. I didn't do anything to track ovulation that cycle.

Here's my question, especially for those ladies who have been on Met for 2-3 months...if af has become more regular, do you know if you're ovulating? This month I decided to do OPKs, so far negative, but I'm only on day 15, so who knows.

My nurse practitioner was ok with me trying Met for a few months on my own, but believes I'm going to need Clomid and Met to ovulate. I'm not sure why she believes this, other than my day 21 progesterone level being so low before starting Met. I could start Clomid next month, but wanted to give Met alone a chance first...I don't know why but it is a much bigger step for me to start the Clomid.

So, ladies...are you ovulating?
