Default Morning sickness help

so I'm dying!!

I haven't vomited yet, but for the first time since i got my BFP, I think I may.

I'm so entirely miserable today.

I'm surviving with gingerale right now, but don't want to keep drinking all the sugar...and I don't drink diet.

Can you all recommend something for me please?

thank you
Jennifer

SO.... Sorry!!! I don't have much to offer... but have you tried Diet Sierra Mist? It's the only diet drink I can tolerate! Diet Sprite makes me gag! And Saltine crackers?

I've heard sucking on hard candy helps too. Many people like Joly Ranchers... but again... there is the sugar issue. Ice Breakers makes a sugar free Sour mint (in a green package) that is good. Maybe try that? Or sugar free mints?

I didn't have any morning sickness, but I did get sick a couple of times in the evening. What helped me was that I ate all day. I had crackers every few hours and then I had noodle soup throughout the day. I found when my tummy was full, I didn't feel so bad. When my tummy was empty, that's when I got sick.

I hope you feel better!

Make sure you're eating protein every few hours, this will help keep your blood sugar up. Peanut butter and crackers, a handful of mixed nuts or even a boiled egg. All of which are healthy snacks, low in sugar. A lot of pregnancy related nausea is due to rises and falls in your blood sugar as well as your increasing HCG levels.

I tried to just eat what I could and keep down what I could handle. My doctor wasn't concerned about my diet in the first trimester as long as I was getting enough water and not becoming dehydrated.
I had/still have horrible morning sickness. Mine did not go away at the end of the 1st. It only got a little bit better...now each week seems to be better than the last. But I still gag and still throw up. It's awful!

I think the best advice is to figure out what works best for you and go with it. What worked for me might not work for you.
Good luck. I feel your pain!

Sorry, nothing worked for me. Not any of the remedies the above posters have mentioned, and not even 2 prescription meds. Time is the best cure, but I know it is MISERABLE.

Drinking propel grape helped me and another lady on our feb mommy forum. Lemon heads helped me. I hate sour candy but it was tolerable but made my nausea ease up. I never actually threw up just dry heaves. Also, capri sun early in the morning before anything else.
