The most common miracle

I want to experience the most common miracle.

The one everyone says hurts so bad.

The one some people rejoice;

But it makes others so sad.

I want to give birth;

To a beautiful child.

And see him grow up,

And even be wild.

I want to change the poopy diapers,

And be there during his first heart break.

But I am told that may never happen;

Although I am willing to put everything at stake.

I want to hear the cry of my baby when I am trying to sleep.

But some doctors say that I should give in to defeat.

There are plenty of kids who need parents out their;

Unfortunately I would still feel incomplete.

So I will keep trying;

Until I can't try anymore;

To experience the most common miracle

In the world.
