Unhappy Most of the symptoms/yet to be diagnosed

Just found this fantastic site and looking for some advice!!

Hi everyone. Been suspicious for a while that i may have this condition. Have been plucking dark course hairs from my chin every couple of days for the last ten months or so. In recent months have noticed thicker and darker hairs on my arms and increase in other body hair. Have the left eyelid skintag (very amused that this seems to be a theme!!). Hair has been noticeably coming out for six months or so but in the last couple of weeks i only need to touch my head and several hairs fall out!!
I had very strong, thick hair before but have noticed it seems very fine now have also noticed hairline at front seems to have moved back a little. Have managed to lose a fair bit of weight dropping nearly two dress sizes since xmas and now ive found from this site that low carb is the way to go with this condition, i will hopefully continue dropping the two sizes i still need to go. Interestingly ive been suffering for several years from hypoglacemic attacks although this seems to have improved since my diet started. Had no idea until i came to this site that it can be related to PCOS. Now the one thing i dont understand, and i dont know if anyone can give me advice on this, is that my monthly periods are regular, sometimes if anything i will get them every 26 days instead of 28!! Has anyone else been diagnosed with PCOS even though they periods are regular?? Seeing dr tomorrow and will ask for a scan to confirm my suspicions. Can anyone tell me if drs will prescribe medication for hairloss/excess hair growth before formal diagnosis has been made??? Im concerned i could have to wait some time for the appt. Good luck to everyone with their treatment.
