UP got my DH crying. Those first 15 minutes were SOOOO emotional for us.
Another one that lightly touches it is Julie and Julia. When she gets a letter from her just married sister that her sister is pg it's such a sad and touching scene between her and her husband.
Julie and Julia was the worst for me. I felt for her soo much especially when she is crying and saying she is so happy for her sister. That is how I feel when I find out someone I know is pregnant. I am truly happy for them but I am still so sad that it is not me.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Raising Arizona. Ok so it doesn't take you by surprise because it's on the back of the dvd box, but still! It's a comedy!!!
I remember when I was quite young, we started watching it with some friends of my friend's dad and the wife insisted we watch something else. I think she couldn't quite handle the scene where the find out they can't have kids.
I still love that movie though, but the end always gets me a bit down.

I am going to have to get the Time Travelers Wife!!! But, yes Marley and Me is such a better book than it was a movie.
I To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. The Time Travelers Wife book, didn't see the movie though because I'm afraid it will suck & ruin the book for me (Did that w/The Notebook & was really disappointed w/the movie)
Marley & Me, I saw the movie but haven't read the book, eh, I didn't care for it. Not because of the m/c, I just didn't like it.

Loved Time Traveler's Wife. It went into depth on her infertility more than the movie. And UP...I was totally caught off guard by the infertility referance in the movie. I was thinking, "seriously, a cartoon...making me cry! Its a kids movie! Infertility is such adult matter" But, I loved the movie.

I'd have to go with a tv show. I'm a huge Sex and the City fan and watching Charlott go through her process really hit home..
It was awesome in the movie when she got pregnant. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Ok so I know you all already said it but "Marley & Me" literally had me bawling from the MC scene on..... and then the dog dies and I was in total hysterics because I am so freaking in love with my dog.... ugh I'm tearing up thinking about it!

Ugh, just reading about Marley and Me makes me start tearing up. I began crying at that scene and I don't think I ever stopped. It was heartbreaking. I can only imagine how the book would do me in!
I know it's not a movie, but Friends- Monica and Chandler couldn't have children due to infertility and are trying to adopt and Chandler is talking to the (hopeful) adoptive mom and begs her to choose them because Monica is already a mom without a baby. Oh that kills me every time because I'd felt that way about myself for years.
We went to see UP the evening after we saw the fertility specialist for the first time and found out I was losing my third pregnancy... it was supposed to take my mind off of things.
I ended up sobbing, and spent the next month and a half being clinically depressed and ended up having to go to my doctor and get put on anti-depressants. I know it wasn't the movie specifically, but that definitely triggered something.
I had been fine for the last several months, no drugs, dealing with things well... Then we went to see Time Traveler's Wife last weekend. This whole week I was just moping and depressed and negative. I ended up talking to a friend about it and feel a lot better now, but still...
They should put warnings on those things!!!

There's a Christian film Facing the Giants, the wife was having a hard time getting pregnant. I had a MC and that film happen to be on TV and it gave me the strength to leave things up to God and 2 weeks later I found out on a cycle that was suppose to be a bust that I was indeed pregnant!

Oh yes, my mom loves that movie - she cries on my behalf (and my younger sister's - she's 18 and also has PCOS, not TTC though) everytime she watches it! I agree, it's very emotional.

Just found out another one.....Couples Retreat. Just went to see it tonight and one of couples was having trouble getting pregnant. She kept talking about fertility specialists and I was like wow. Been there...done that!
