Just found out another one.....Couples Retreat. Just went to see it tonight and one of couples was having trouble getting pregnant. She kept talking about fertility specialists and I was like wow. Been there...done that!
I was just going to mention that one - yep! Good movie I think, but I was like... oh sheesh, can't I *forget* about infertility for 2 hrs? ah well...

After 18-mos. forced break... Oct & Nov = BFN's Started Follistim 12/01 Ultrasound 12/04: Hoping and Praying for a Christmas BFP!
Yeah, at least Couple's Retreat kind of showed how IF affects a marriage. It's not just about BDing 24/7 in hopes you will get pg. The wife was able to get out her feelings about not being perfect and I thought that was kind of cool. I kept squeezing DH's hand when they discussed IF though....always difficult

I had seen marley before my miscarriages and it was hard.
Then it came on HBO recently and i watched it( had forgotten about the missed m/c scene)
Well it killed me..my name is also Jen and thats how my u/s went when the RE said the baby had died.....I felt like it was me all over again, especially because I was 9 weeks. Now I pause and FF thru that scene!!

A friend warned me away from Away We Go. M/c is discussed, and also, there is an infertile couple. (I haven't seen the movie myself, though, so I'm not sure how sad it is)

I got one.. and from a weird source..It is an Asian horror\thriller from Vietnam. Its called Love Never Dies. She has 3 miscarriages. I cried my eyes out. I am not going to ruin it for those who may want to watch(its not gory or anything more of a romance thriller). Its at asian-horror-movies.com

A Smile Like Yours is a good one. Not widely popular and a bit older (probably in the mid 90's). That focusing primarily on the couples struggling with infertility (in this case I believe it was male infertility). She's Having A Baby is a fun movie. The couple struggle to conceive at first but 3/4 of the movie then focus on her pregnancy and his coming to terms with become a dad. Ends with a difficult delivery but is definitely worth watching.

I thought the same thing. It's almost a relief in a way to see Hollywood bring something like this to the big screen though. Everything is not all glitz and glamour and people deal with those real issues everyday.
