Kristy-I think I am going to give femara a try for getting preggo. My old RE didn't use it but my new RE does and I've heard great things about it from other cysters. I sometimes O and can get preggo naturally, but it's infrequent and since I'm in a hurry here, I will definitely be using fertility drugs. I used clomid last time and did get a BFP, but it was a wierd cycle. My largest follie was only 15mm but my LH was surging so the nurse told me I had to trigger even though my follie wasn't quite large enough, and she didn't expect me to get pregnant. But then I did get pregnant anyway. I'm hoping the femara will give me a stronger O since things didn't go quite right with the clomid.

Stacy - I had 3 failed rounds of Clomid with no O. I got my last bfp on first round of Femara - so I'm a huge fan.

So glad you found an RE you like.

But these things I plan won't happen right away.
Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place.
It will not be late by a single day.

It's been quiet on here. How is everyone doing?

For the ladies who will be doing Lovenox - do any of you know what your dosage will be? My hematologist said it will be 30-40mg once a day. I thought the shots were twice a day. Anyone know?

Melissa-Sorry, I don't know what dosage I'm going to be on yet. I actually think my RE is putting me on heparin, not lovenox. I'm not sure if the dosages are the same between the two. I'm not real sure what the difference is between heparin and lovenox. But I have my appointment with the RE on the 28th. I assume we will go over my results and treatment plan more in depth then. I will let you know what dosage as soon as I find out. Do you know if you will be starting the lovenox before you know you are pg, or will you be waiting until you get a BFP to start it?

How is everyone else?

Kristy-I hope your testing gives you some answers. Definitely let us know what your results are!

I had my appointment with the RE today. I was excited about TTC again, now I'm panicky. He ordered some more tests, a saline HSG thing, an endometrial biopsy, and some more bloodwork. Now I feel panicky that he thinks something else could be wrong besides the MTHFR/Protein S since he wants more tests. I wish doctors could just say, "This is definitely what cause your miscarriages, take these drugs and you are cured." Obviously it's not that simple. But I'm on femara now and I'm back in the game. Now if only I could relax...

justinsmom, at last your dr is trying to be on top of the game. It is better to have too much information then to have not enough. In my case i was dx'd with pcos only then had to have another m/c to be dx'd with mthfr. Wish they had just did all of that the time before.grrr.....I think dr's need to take m/c more seriously at the beginning so we dont have to repeatedly have our hearts ripped out!!!
AFM i think i am gong to try soy isoflovens this cycle since i dont have insurance and cant get clomid. oh well. God has a plan.
Hope everyone else is doing ok and we all get our bfp soon!!
oh sassy lovenox is once a day and heparin is 2x's a day. something to do with the different meds i guess.

Tammy-Amen to doctor's needing to take miscarriage more seriously! I have been saying the same thing! Also, I'm not advising you to take meds without a doctor, but I know there is a Mexican website out there where you can order clomid without a script. I've heard of cysters doing that before.
