Multivitamin Recommendations? Hi all! First time poster here!
I just saw my endocrinologist yesterday and he's switching me from Avandia (4mg, once a day) to Metformin (1000mg, twice a day), so I've been doing tons of research on side effects and things to expect from long-time usage of the medication. I'm also looking into what would be the best multivitamin I could take to prevent a B12 deficiency.
I've heard from various people that OneSource Complete Women's (w/ Green Tea & Cranberry Extract) is one of the best. Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere... and believe me, I've looked everywhere. Someone mentioned on another site that K-Mart has a brand called VitaSmart Select Women's which is near identical to the ingredients found in OneSource Complete Women's, but I can't seem to find that either. So frustrating... *whimpers*
I know that a lot of gals take a B-Complex and an extra B-12 separately, but I would prefer to take just ONE pill with everything I need in it, for the sake of convenience and because my budget at the moment is pretty limited.
Here's a short summary of what's included in the OneSource Complete Women's multivitamin:
Vitamin A - 100%
Vitamin C - 300%
Vitamin D - 100%
Vitamin E - 300%
Thiamin (B1) - 5,433%
Riboflavin (B2) - 4,794%
Vitamin B6 - 4,075%
Vitamin B12 - 1,358%
Niacin - 75%
Folic Acid - 100%
Calcium - 50%
Iron - 150%
Phosphorous - 10%
Magnesium - 50%
Selenium - 100%
Chromium - 83%
Do you lovely ladies know of anything comparable to this? I'm kind of at my wit's end here.
Thank you so much for any help you can give me! I really appreciate it! ^^ |
