watching yet another infomercial for an acne product. the before and after results for the ppl being interviewed are amazing but not sure if it will work for PCOS women. it says it was developed by a dermatologist and has no benz. perox. in it.
my biggest problem is my blocked pores in the T-zone area. yucky. i also get jawline cystic acne on my right side (the left doesn't get them for some reason).
it's $29.95 so it seems reasonable. you have to cxl otherwise you get stuck in the monthly club.... i do have an appt in july with my dermatologist and she had given me a script for a cream that killed facial bacteria and it didn't really work. although i was TTC at the time and not wanting to use it.
just curious if anyone has tried this product.
TIA!

I tried the Murad acne complex a few years ago. I have very sensitive skin and I found it to be very drying and harsh. I remember liking the lotion and using it even after discontinuing the other products. However, this is just my experience of the system. I find that different products tend to work for different people and that no one is the same. Good luck finding what works for you!

I have several friends who love Obagi. I, on the other hand, love Murad (not the acne complex, however--I use the 3-step day reform/night reform process). It is expensive, but you can buy it on ebay cheaper!

I used Murad and really liked it. I found it to be MUCH less harsh than the Proactive, which I hated and was too sensitive for. I'm not sure if the Murad helped much with the acne, but I was not on any other meds at the time to help control the PCOS, so now maybe I'll go back and try it again. Oh, and you can order Murad through Sephora.
beachbaby - thanks for the heads up on sephora. there are a couple sephora stores around where i live so i'll check it out there.
